1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Alight Acupuncture (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms apply to all website visitors, users, and patients. Certain services may require additional terms or consent forms, which will become part of your agreement with us when applicable.

2. Services Overview

Alight Acupuncture is a holistic healthcare practice based in Austin, Texas. We offer services that may include acupuncture, herbal medicine consultations, and related wellness modalities such as cupping and gua sha.

Some services may be offered via telehealth. If you choose to use telehealth services, you are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable and secure internet connection and device. Telehealth services are available only to individuals physically located in states where the practitioner is licensed at the time of service. Telehealth is not appropriate for medical emergencies.

While many people find our services supportive, individual results vary and outcomes are not guaranteed. Any information on this website is provided for general educational purposes only and does not promise specific results.

3. Appointment Scheduling, Cancellations, and Late Arrivals

Appointments may be scheduled online through AcuSimple or by contacting us directly. When booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate, current information.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice, unless a different policy is stated for a specific service. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.

We understand that emergencies and sudden illness happen. If something unexpected occurs, please contact us as soon as possible and we may waive the fee at our discretion.

Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or the need to reschedule in order to protect the time of other patients. Arrivals beyond a reasonable grace period (generally 15 minutes) may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.

4. Payments and No-Show Policy

Payment
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Accepted payment methods may include cash and major credit or debit cards. If you use insurance and we provide documentation for reimbursement, you remain responsible for any fees not covered by your plan.

Prices may change over time. Current pricing is available during booking or upon request.

No-Shows
A “no-show” means missing a scheduled appointment without providing the required notice. No-shows may be charged the full price of the missed appointment. By booking an appointment, you agree to the cancellation policy described above. Any applicable late cancellation or no-show fees will be invoiced separately or collected at a subsequent visit. Repeated no-shows or repeated late cancellations may require prepayment for future appointments or may limit our ability to schedule additional visits.

5. Health Disclaimer

Alight Acupuncture provides complementary wellness services and is not a substitute for primary medical care. Nothing on this website, or in general communications with us, should be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment for any individual condition.

If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care. Do not delay medical treatment because of information found on this website.
